UCLA Has Two Named Lott IMPACT Trophy Quarterfinalists

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA football team had two of its linebackers named quarterfinalists for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation announced Wednesday. Senior Anthony Barr and junior Eric Kendricks represent the Bruins as two of the 20 quarterfinalists. UCLA is the only school with two players on the list.

Kendricks leads the team with 56 tackles, including 29 solo stops. The junior has added 1.5 tackles for a loss, one interception, one pass breakup and two passes defended. Barr enters the Oregon contest with 34 tackles, including 11 for a loss. The senior has added four sacks, one quarterback hurry two fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.

The 2013 Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award Marquee Match-up for week nine highlights Davey O'Brien Watch List candidates Brett Hundley and Marcus Mariota of Oregon in a contest between two of the top offenses in the Pac-12. Hundley enters Saturday's contest having thrown for 1,661 yards and 13 touchdowns through six games this season.

The game at Oregon will kickoff at 4 p.m. PT, and be televised by ESPN with Brent Musburger (play by play), Kirk Herbstreit (color) and Heather Cox (field reporter) calling the action.
