Men’s Volleyball Defeats Alumni

The UCLA men’s volleyball team opened its fall season with a victory Saturday afternoon in Pauley Pavilion against its Alumni team.

In a pre-determined best-of-three match, the varsity won 2-1. Set scores were 25-21, 25-23, 22-25.

In two weeks the Bruins will travel across town to play in the USC Fall Tournament, Nov. 8-9.

Following that event, UCLA will host the annual SAC Tournament, Nov. 22-23 in the Student Activities Center.

The Bruins will conclude their preseason schedule with a match against UBC Okanagan, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. in Pauley Pavilion.

Admission to all home preseason matches is free.
