Men's Golf Closes Fall In Hawaii This Week

The Sun Devil men's golf team is competing in the 2013 Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational Monday through Wednesday this week, with 18 holes being played over three days beginning at 7:30 a.m. the first two days and 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

The par-72 and 7,223-yard Makai Golf Club at Princeville in Kaua‘i is the site, where Arizona State joins Baylor, Boise State, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, East Tennessee State, two teams from Hawai'i, Idaho, Louisville, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Pepperdine, San Diego, San Francisco, UC Santa Barbara and Utah also competing. The Sun Devils are fielding a team of Jon Rahm, Alberto Sanchez, Broc Johnson, Nicolo Galletti and Austin Quick, with Mathias Schjeolberg competing as an individual.

The Sun Devils are 56-7-1 in head-to-head competition and ranked 30th by Golfweek and 27th by Golfstat.

ASU already has 12 eagles this year, after posting 22 last season which was the most in the past 20 seasons of Sun Devil golf.
