TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State University single-game tickets for the Territorial Cup® on Nov. 30 at Sun Devil Stadium will go on sale this week.
The Sun Devils reclaimed the Cup last season with a 41-34 win in Tucson, and will look to become the first ASU team since 2007 to hold the oldest intercollegiate rivalry trophy in the nation for consecutive seasons. Join the conversation throughout November using the hashtag #KeepTheCup.
The Conquer November ticket bundle, which includes both the Oregon State and Territorial Cup® games, is still available and starts at $69.
The 87th installment of the annual matchup between the two schools is ASU’s final regular season game of the year and the team’s 26 seniors will be honored on the field before the game as part of Senior Day. The first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative senior poster.
“Winning the Territorial Cup is a point of pride for all of Sun Devil Nation, from students across all four campuses to alumni and past letterwinners,” Rocky Harris, Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations, said. “We have the best student section in the nation and our fans have packed Sun Devil Stadium all season. It’s going to be a great atmosphere for everyone, especially our senior class.”
The visiting team has won eight of the past 13 matchups between the two schools, and seven of the past nine games have been decided by a touchdown or less.
ASU currently leads the 2013-14 Territorial Cup® series, 1.5 to 1, with a victory in the first volleyball match and a split at the men’s and women’s Pac-12 Cross Country Championship.

Territorial Cup® History
Thanks to a historic find in a church basement several years ago, the two universities can now claim the oldest intercollegiate rivalry trophy in the nation. The Territorial Championship Cup®, which has been registered with the NCAA, was first presented to Tempe Normal School (now ASU) on Nov. 30, 1899 following an 11-2 victory at Tucson's Carillo Gardens Field. The priceless Territorial Cup® was lost for a time and was discovered several years ago in the basement of a church that was being demolished. According to the NCAA, the previous oldest trophy was the Michigan/Minnesota Little Brown Jug, which dates back to 1909.
The Territorial Cup® is currently available for public viewing in the reading room of ASU's Hayden Library. A replica of the cup is also currently displayed in ASU’s Hall of Fame inside the Carson Student-Athlete Center, and will be displayed on the field at this year’s football game.
In addition to the Territorial Cup®, there are two other trophies handed out at each year's game:
·       The Big Game Trophy, a sculpture by artist Ben Goo, was the prize in the rivalry game from 1979 to 1997 and is awarded to the game MVP to be displayed in the school's Hall of Fame. The award is now called the Bob Moran MVP Award, named after longtime East Valley Tribune sports reporter Bob Moran, who covered both schools as a beat writer and columnist in his long and distinguished career.
·       The Saguaro Trophy, a bronze sculpture by artist Dora Perry, served as the reward starting in 1998 and is given to the coach of the winning team to display in his office for the year.
Season ticket holders can currently purchase discounted single-game tickets at any time other than on the day of each game.
Tickets start as low as $25 or buy a Raising Cane’s Family Tailgate Pack, which includes four single-game tickets and four Raising Cane’s meal vouchers. Group rates for more than 15 people can also be purchased. The special $10 section is no longer available.
Be sure to arrive early each game for the second year of Devil Walk, which begins 3 hours 30 minutes before kickoff inside Wells Fargo Arena, and will once again feature the 2013 team, the highly acclaimed ASU Sun Devil Marching Band, the Spirit Squad, special videos and highlights, and more.
Students who are not season ticket holders will have the option to buy single-game tickets beginning the week before each home game. Click here to learn more about Sun Devil Student Season Tickets, which includes all home football and men’s basketball games, as well as other benefits.
