Defensive players shine on offense for UCLA

Nov 9, 2013

Yes, you read that headline correctly... UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone got creative on Saturday night with starting linebackers Myles Jack and Jordan Zumwalt and starting defensive linemen Kenny Clark and Eddie Vanderdoes, who got some run in with the Bruins offense.

Jack, UCLA's second-leading tackler, was an all-state running back/linebacker while at Washington's Bellevue High School. He made his presence felt on Saturday by leading the Bruins in rushing with 120 yards on six carries, including this 66-yard rush to the house. Looks pretty good huh:

Zumwalt also got himself into the box score with this catch for a first down:

Oh yeah, Jack also recovered a fumble on defense too.
