NO. 5 STANFORD, NO. 8 USC and NO. 3 WASHINGTON are all still in the running for the Pac-12 regular-season title and the Huskies will have the first opportunity to clinch at least a share of the crown. The top two teams in the Pac-12 go head-to-head this week as UW travels to take on the defending Pac-12 Champion Cardinal on Wednesday night on The Farm at 7:30 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks ... Stanford jumped over the Trojans to second in the Conference standings after USC was upset in a stunning five-set match at WASHINGTON STATE. The Cougars picked up their fourth Conference win on the year, which marks the most Pac-12 victories in head coach Jen Greeny’s tenure ... The other ranked Pac-12 team, No. 23 CALIFORNIA, also hosts the Washington schools after returning home from a four-game road trip where the Bears went 3-1 ... The middle of the Conference standings is tighter than ever with four teams within two games of each other. ARIZONA stands at 9-7 and could improve in the standings as they travel to SoCal and face UCLA and USC ... OREGON is at .500 after splitting their weekend, losing to Stanford but picking up an upset over California, the first of two upsets over the course of the week ... Four teams are once again ranked in the AVCA National Coaches Poll. UW kept its No. 3 spot and Stanford improved to fifth overall. USC slipped to eighth and California came in at 23rd ... The Pac-12 Players of the Week for volleyball play from Nov. 11-17 were Krista Vansant of Washington, Carly Wopat of Stanford, and Kyra Holt of Washington State, who earned Offensive, Defensive and Freshman of the week, respectively ... Nationally, at least two Pac-12 teams are ranked in the top 25 in all but one statistical category. In individual categories, at least one student-athlete from the league is represented in the top 25 in each category, including five players ranked in points per set, posting 4.80 or better.
