UCLA Wins Penalty Kick Shootout to Advance to NCAA Final

Ninety minute were not enough in UCLA’s NCAA semifinal match against Virginia on Friday. Neither were two overtimes. After a 1-1 stalemate, the Bruins edged the Cavaliers, 4-2, on penalty kicks to advance to the NCAA championship match. No. 2 seed UCLA, the only non-top seed among the final four, will face Florida State at noon Sunday.
