It was the first conference game of the 2013-2014 season here on the Pac-12 Networks, and it may go down as the most exciting thanks to Oregon's Damyean Dotson.
The Ducks' sophomore guard pounced on a bad pass by Utah with just seven seconds remaining in overtime, and raced down court for the dunk that turned in a collective gasp from the Huntsman Center crowd with 0.6 seconds left on the clock. While the flush will be replayed over and over, Utah’s Jordan Loveridge actually got a sneaky good look on the backside of Dotson’s dunk. Had his shot gone in, a wild finish would have ascended into something historic.

The 70-68 final score was actually a bit of an anomaly. Pitted as a high-scoring match-up between two of the nation’s top four points-per-game teams, the Ducks and Utes both arguably played their worst offensive games of the season, shooting a combined 38 percent from the floor and committing 30 turnovers.
But numbers aside, we'll remember Dotson’s game-winning slam for a while and reference it come March. Oregon stays undefeated heading into a Sunday showdown with Colorado, while Utah looks to regroup after a shocking start to conference play.
