Chelsea Stewart Allocated to Boston Breakers of NWSL

Senior defender Chelsea Stewart has been allocated by the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) to the Boston Breakers. Stewart is one of four Canadian National Team members allocated to teams in the league.

Stewart, a bronze medalist with Team Canada at the 2012 Olympics, lettered three years at UCLA from 2011-13, earning Capital One Academic All-District and Pac-12 All-Academic honors twice in her career. She played in all 26 games for the NCAA champion Bruins in 2013, making seven starts and recording three assists. Stewart finished her Bruin career with two goals, both of which were game-winners, 12 assists and 16 points.

Seven Bruins were in the NWSL in 2013 - league MVP Lauren Holiday, Sydney Leroux, Zakiya Bywaters, Lauren Barnes, Kristina Larsen, Danesha Adams and McCall Zerboni.
