Arizona women’s basketball (4-8, 0-1) travel to Pullman, Wash. to take on Washington State (7-6, 1-0) on Sunday at 1 p.m. MT on the Pac-12 Networks.
The Wildcats are coming off a close 55-52 loss at Washington on Friday night, while the Cougars defeated Arizona State, 85-78.
Junior Candice Warthen scored 16 points in Seattle for her seventh game scoring in double-digits this season, while freshman LaBrittney Jones posted her second double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
WSU is led by junior Tia Presley and sophomore Lia Galdeira. Presley is leading the team in scoring with 20.2 ppg, while Galdeira is also averaging in double digits at 18.5 ppg. Junior Shalie Dheensaw is leading in rebounds with 7.2 rpg.
Arizona has a 33-23 record over Washington State in the all-time series, including a 15-12 mark in Pullman. The Wildcats last won, 71-65 in Pullman in 2013 in the Pac-12 season opener.
