Basketball to Hold Kids? Clinic After Feb. 15 Game

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State University men's basketball team will hold a kids' clinic for boys and girls grades kindergarten through sixth, Saturday, Feb. 15, following its game against Stanford, which begins at 4 p.m. at Beasley Coliseum.

The clinic, which is free to those in attendance at the game that day, will be held on Friel Court at Beasley Coliseum, home to WSU basketball. Check-in for the clinic begins immediately following the game on the court, with the clinic beginning approximately 30 minutes after the final buzzer.

The Cougar Basketball Kids' Clinic, which is scheduled to last 45 minutes, will feature instruction by head coach Ken Bone and the entire 2013-14 team. The clinic will emphasize defensive and offensive fundamentals, sportsmanship and teamwork.

The clinic is similar to the one that was held following WSU’s win over Mississippi Valley State, Dec. 28, 2013.

Registration is available online and all participants must register in advance, by Friday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. To register go to https://www.athletics.wsu.edu/mensbasketballcamp/Registration.asp.
