Part of the fun of National Signing Day is seeing the moment the kid declares for a school. Usually a recruit will put on a hat to announce his intentions, but some guys get a little more theatrical. Included in the latter is Stanford signee Solomon Thomas, the No. 4 defensive end in his class and a five-star recruit by Scout. Choosing between Stanford, UCLA and Arkansas, Thomas pulled out a tree to say that he's going to play for David Shaw. The nerd glasses were a nice touch, too.
