STANFORD, Calif. -- While Stanford baseball’s social media accounts have not been around for all 120 years of the program’s existence, they have been busy lately updating fans on happenings before Friday afternoon’s 2014 opener against Rice. The team is poised for another successful season, with a mix of youth and experience as explained by Mark Marquess, the Clarke and Elizabeth Nelson Director of Baseball…

And has been named a preseason All-American by three publications…

The return of seven position players who started over 20 games in 2013 and a strong freshman class have Stanford appearing in an number of top 25 polls…
