STANFORD, Calif. – No. 13/11 Stanford will look to keep its perfect record intact Tuesday when it travels to UC Davis (4-8) for a midweek matchup.

The Cardinal (11-0) is coming off two strong tournaments to open the season, going 6-0 at the Kajikawa Classic (Feb. 6-9) and 5-0 at the Stanford Nike Invitational (Feb. 14-16). Stanford has outscored opponents 94-22 and outhit the competition 111-43.

Freshman pitcher Madi Schreyer (8-0) was excellent in the circle last weekend, picking up four wins and holding a 1.59 ERA. She accumulated 20 strikeouts in 28.1 innings of work.

Bessie Noll and Kylie Sorenson continued to shine at the plate, hitting .455 and .417 on the weekend, respectively. Sorenson went 5-for-11 with six RBI and notched a team-high five walks. Noll hit 5-for-12 with three RBI and scored three runs.

Stanford split two meetings with UC Davis last year, winning 8-0 at home in six innings, and dropping a 5-4 decision in Davis.
