Rugby ready for its Pac-12 Networks debut

From the looks of it, Cal rugby is prepared to play UCLA on Saturday.

The Bears also are ready to put on a show.

The matchup marks the first time rugby will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks (3 p.m. PT), for a national audience to follow. The event also is expected to draw a large crowd to Witter Field in person -- even the spirit squad.

Cal is a varsity sport at Cal while the UCLA squad is a club team. The sport is growing in popularity nationwide. Cal head coach Jack Clark and members of the Cal rugby team preview the importance of Saturday's match, what it means for the sport, and what fans can expect from the broadcast:
