WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Pac-12 Conference office announced today the Pac-12 women’s gymnastics weekly honors for the week of Mar. 3 - Mar. 9. STANFORD’s Kristina Vaculik was named the Gymnast of the Week, UTAH’s Georgia Dabritz was voted Specialist of the Week, and OREGON STATE’s Madeline Gardiner was selected as the Freshman/Newcomer of the Week.

Kristina Vaculik of Ontario, Canada, continued her outstanding season by claiming individual wins in four of five events against No. 22 California. She finished first in the all-around (39.550), bars (9.925), beam (9.875) and floor (9.900). Her score of 9.875 on beam tied her collegiate best. Later that week, Vaculik had another strong showing as the Cardinal took on No. 4 Alabama, posting scores of 9.775 or higher in three of four events. She had a clutch performance on bars with a score of 9.850 as a gymnast fell on the event prior to her performance.

Georgia Dabritz won two of three events to lead Utah to its best road score of the season (197.350) as the Utes took third in a tri-meet vs. Michigan and UCLA. Dabritz scored her first 10.0 of her career on the floor to win the event. She also took the event title on the bars with a 9.95. She scored 9.9 on vault. The Newburyport, Mass., native is ranked No. 1 on both bars and floor.

Freshman Madeline Gardiner saw four personal-bests and scored a 39.400 in her first career all-around performance as Oregon State beat No. 18 Arizona in Tucson. Gardiner led off for the Beavers with a 9.80 in the first vault of her career. She added a career-best 9.925 on the balance beam to win the individual title and a 9.85 on the floor exercise. She concluded her stellar meet by establishing a personal-best 9.825 on the uneven bars.

Gymnast of the Week has been selected every week of the season since 2001. The Specialist of the Week award was added in 2008. It is the second year for Freshman/Newcomer of the Week.
