Selection Sunday has come and gone, and six Pac-12 teams are dancing – Arizona, ASU, Colorado, Oregon, Stanford, and UCLA – and the Wildcats are the top dogs in the west as the No. 1 seed. It starts with Weber State.

Arizona State

The Wildcats’ rivals open with Texas on Thursday. Watch Arizona State’s reaction to making the NCAA tournament as the group watches the selection show.

With Steve Alford’s Lobos getting upset in the round of 64 last year and Ben Howland’s Bruins bowing out at the same juncture, UCLA is hoping for a happier ending to this NCAA tournament. First opponent? Tulsa.

Buffzone gives us NCAA tournament projections for the Buffs and Panthers (Colorado meets Pitt in its opening game). Also, Spencer Dinwiddie is pleased the see the Buffs in the tourney, even if he can’t play in it.

It pays to make the big dance, and Oregon’s NCAA tournament bid was worth $25,000 for coach Dana Altman. He can make more than a half mil if the Ducks win it all. No. 7 seed Oregon takes on No. 10 BYU Thursday.

Utah’s season is continuing on as well; the Utes will face St. Mary’s in the first round of the NIT on the road. Utah earned a No. 5 seed, while Cal is a No. 2 seed in the next-best field of 32.

It’s Selection Monday for women’s hoops, and Stanford is in the hunt for a No. 1 seed. To get the fans hyped up for this year’s tourney run, Stanford women’s basketball released its newest music video, “N-E-R-D-S,” featuring Chiney Ogwumike as the main attraction. Probably the team’s best video yet.

Oregon State

Raise your hand if you had Oregon State making the women’s tourney at the beginning of the season… It looks like the Beavers are in line for the 8-9 game, and freshman point guard Sydney Wiese is leading the Beavers’ resurgence.

Washington State

Washington State was off the radar in men’s hoops this year, so you might not have noticed DaVonté Lacy’s amazing season. Luckily, CougCenter is here to recap it for ya.

Sports Illustrated lists USC as one of the top 10 quarterback battles to watch in spring practice. Washington also makes the cut, while Arizona is another one to monitor.

Earlier Monday morning, Cal announced plans to add new full-time tenants to Memorial Stadium, allowing the venue to generate more revenue.

In football scheduling news, Washington and Rutgers will play a home-and-home series in 2016 and 2017, with the first meeting coming in Seattle.
