No. 6 Women’s Golf to Compete in SDSU Farms Invitational

SAN DIEGO, Calif.—The sixth-ranked Arizona State women’s golf team returns to action Mar. 24-26 to compete in the SDSU Farms Invitational. The 54-hole tournament will be played at the par-72, 6,237-yard Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.
The 17-team field showcases: Arizona State (6), Cal, Fullerton, Idaho, Miami, Oklahoma State (14), Oregon (21), Portland State, SDSU, Stanford (13), Texas, UC Irvine, UCLA (2), UNLV, UNM, USC (1), and Xavier.
Junior Noemi Jimenez tops the Sun Devil lineup. Earlier in March, Jimenez tied for third at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, shooting a 1-under 212 (71-72-69) to record her sixth top-10 finish of the season.
The Arizona State lineup also features senior Dani Ordonez, who competed for the first time this spring at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate as an individual. Ordonez, who did not golf in the second round due to injury, shot a 2-over 73 in the final round of the tournament.
Senior Justine Lee, junior Emilie Alonso, and freshman Monica Vaughn round out the Sun Devil lineup.
Last time out, Arizona State took 12th place at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C.
