Video: Utes do circle drill to decide possession

Apr 19, 2014

Every school in the Pac-12 has their own traditions for their spring football games. On Saturday, Utah's head coach Kyle Wittingham didn't waste any time in showing us the Utes' tradition.

In deciding who would get the ball first between in the Red-White game Wittingham ran the circle drill, where the victor would get possession for his team. The circle drill certainly is a unique way to decide possession. The late league, XFL, also had a unique way to decide possession.

Maybe Wittingham's circle drill will catch on. Then again, maybe not.
