Softblog: Birthday Bash
Hello Stanford softball fans!
I hope everyone had an awesome week and is ready for another weekend full of softball! If you haven’t heard already we are playing UCLA this weekend and (wait for it…) all of our games will be televised! And even more exciting we will be playing on ESPN May 4th!
So even if you aren’t able to make it out to our games this week, you’ll be able to catch all the action on the Pac-12 Network, ESPNU, and ESPN.
So we are headed out today to UCLA for a weekend packed with softball, family and friends. I am happy to report that we are headed into this next series after a nice win at St. Mary’s.
Furthermore we have some very exciting days up ahead! Today (Thursday) is Lauren Bertoy’s birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY BERTLE!!!). And the birthday madness continues all on May 4th (national Star Wars day if any of you didn’t already know) with my birthday! So we will definitely be celebrating this weekend with some sort of desserts, because what is a birthday without some type of cupcakes or cookies?!
Anyway we all look forward to seeing you out at the games this weekend soaking up some sun and cheering for our team!
Until next week,
(P.S. May the Fourth be with you!— and yes that was my attempt to be funny)
