Women's Basketball Signs Lexi Bando

May 1, 2014

EUGENE, Ore. - Willamette High School standout guard Lexi Bando has signed a grant-in-aid agreement and will join the Oregon women's basketball team for the 2014-15 season, head coach Kelly Graves announced Thursday.

“Lexi is a great competitor and she’s a winner," Graves said. "She plays big in the biggest moments. She is a tremendous shooter and a great defender. She is really long and athletic and plays with attitude, which I love. Lexi is a great kid with a great heart. She’s really the whole package.”

Bando joins 5-foot-9 guard McKynzie Fort (Etiwanda, Calif./Etiwanda HS) and 6-foot-2 forward Tatum Neubert (Elizabeth, Colo./Elizabeth HS), who both signed in the early signing period, in Oregon's incoming freshman class.

Bando originally signed with Graves at Gonzaga, but was given her full release and will be eligible to play in her first season at Oregon.
