Eight Bruins Named to MPSF All-Academic Women’s Water Polo Team

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Eight UCLA women’s water polo players, including the entire senior class, were named to the All-MPSF Academic Team Friday, the conference announced.

To earn a spot on the all-conference academic team, student-athletes were required to be at least sophomores academically with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and to have played in a minimum number of contests.

Seniors Victoria Kent (3.443, Art History), Becca Dorst (3.283, Psychology) and Kelly Ronimus (3.221, Political Science) each earned spots on the team for the second consecutive year. Joining them for the second time was junior and leading scorer Emily Donohoe (3.278, Sociology). New members of the team were sophomores Maddy McLaren (3.349, Sociology), Kodi Hill (3.142, Accounting), Alys Williams (3.110, Psychology) and Danielle Ferraro (3.009, Sociology).

Donohoe (1st Team), Dorst (2nd Team) and Williams (Honorable Mention) were named to the All-MPSF Team last month for their outstanding play during the season.
