SHANGHAI, CHINA -  The Pac-12 All-Stars concluded their Chinese tour with a 71-68 victory over the Shanghai Sharks this evening. Jordan Loveridge finished with 16 points and six rebounds to lead his team to the win.

In a back-and-forth encounter that proved to be more physical and intense than the previous two contests, the Pac-12 team secured victory when Oregon State’s Cheikh N'diaye deflected an inbounds pass with two seconds remaining in regulation.

Sticking with the defensive rotation that worked so well against Jiangsu, the young collegians were able to effectively guard the veteran Chinese team.

DaVonté Lacy of Washington State finished with ten points and brought the crowd to its feet with an impressive tip dunk late in the contest.

Prior to the game, former NBA great and current Shanghai Sharks president Yao Ming spoke to the Pac-12 squad, offering encouraging words for use on the court and in the classroom.

“I’d like to thank the players for competing and being so dedicated during this past week,” head coach Larry Krystkowiak said. “This would not have been possible if not for their hard work and unselfishness.”
