Oregon

Daniel Uthman of USA Today examines the habits of Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota in this interesting piece. This is a really good read; Czech it out!

Oregon State

Scary news to report here, as Oregon State basketball freshman Chai Baker was hospitalized after suffering “an apparent cardiac-related medical incident” Tuesday afternoon. At last check, Baker is in critical but stable condition. Here’s more from Connor Letourneau of The Oregonian; an Oregon State spokesman told his publication doctors are “optimistic” that he will have a full recovery.

Washington

More juicy scheduling news to link to, because Washington football has added BYU and Michigan to its future schedules. The Dawgs will play the Cougars in 2018 (Seattle) and 2019 (Provo) and the Wolverines in 2020 (Seattle) and 2021 (Ann Arbor). Yes, yes, yes.

Arizona

And I'll go all Daniel Bryan again – yes, yes, yes. Why the joy? Because Arizona basketball has scheduled a series with UCONN. Arizona will host the Huskies in the 2017-18 campaign and will make the return trip the following year.

Arizona State

Former Arizona State basketball guard Jahii Carson signed with an Australian team – the Wollongong Hawks of the Australian National Basketball League (former Stanford great Josh Childress will also be playing in the Australian NBL this year, reppin' the Sydney Kings).

Utah

The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the University of Utah started a campaign Thursday to educate students and fans about the Ute tribe.

California

Kevin Gemmell highlights Cal quarterback Jared Goff. And then Kyle Bonagura discusses how Goff and Colorado quarterback Sefo Liufau are “flying under the radar,” to borrow Bonagura’s headline.

Washington State

Jacob Thorpe details the work ethic of Washington State wide receiver River Cracraft. The dude is driven, yo.

Colorado

Tom Kensler of the Denver Post features Colorado wide receiver D.D. Goodson. A lot of exciting young receivers on this team, but Goodson isn’t being overlooked (he was third on the team in catches in 2013), as this article notes.

Stanford

David Lombardi previews the Stanford offensive line and tight ends. Remember that great offensive line class of 2012? Many more of those fellas are ready for the limelight now.

UCLA

Jack Wang takes a look at the UCLA special teams unit. A lot of quality guys on that front.

USC

Scott Wolf lets us know that the USC football depth chart has freshmen all over it.

Stanford

Oh hey look at this: Pat Forde of Yahoo! Sports makes the case for the Pac-12 being the best college football conference (take THAT, SEC grads and former Pac-12 Digital employees Nic Lloyd and Ashley Atwell). And here’s ESPN’s preseason All-Pac-12 team.
