Liufau-to-Spruce a solid connection despite loss to CSU
It didn’t take long for Sefo Liufau to settle in during Colorado's season opener. How ‘bout that 54-yard bomb perfectly thrown to Nelson Spruce for the game’s opening touchdown?
The two weren’t done linking up, as Spruce’s second touchdown grab via Liufau was an absolute work of art (you can watch both TDs in the above video).
Although Colorado State won the Rocky Mountain Showdown 31-17 behind an explosive rushing attack, those two played pitch-and-catch seven times for 104 yards through the air and those two scores.
