Pac-12 uniform watch: Cal and Washington go with all-white on the road

Aug 30, 2014

What's new in football fashion this year? Check out what Pac-12 teams are wearing in the opening week of the college football season.

The Ducks face South Dakota sporting white helmets and jerseys to go with "apple green" pants.

At Hawaii on Saturday night, Washington will be wearing its all-white combination with purple trim. Very clean look for coach Chris Petersen's debut.

White-on white with matte helmets worked out for Cal, which went to the midwest and used a huge first half to drop Northwestern.

The Wildcats went with blue jerseys, blue tops and white pants as they revealed their non-gradient numerals in a big win against UNLV on Friday.

Always, always, the Runnin' Utes will wear red in their season opener. They dispatched Idaho State handily on Thursday.

It was gold caps and pants with black jerseys for the Buffs, who came up short against Colorado State.

Ty Montgomery and the Cardinal cruised past UC Davis on Saturday afternoon donning white caps, white pants and cardinal shirts.

Oregon State offered an interesting look with orange jerseys and white pants. The orange racing stripe style look on the white helmets gave a look of Beavers with mohawks – or something like that.

Old-school was the theme of 2014's opening weekend for several Pac-12 schools. The Bruins went white on white with gold helmets on the road, where they slipped by Virginia.

It was also a traditional look for ASU this week. Todd Graham's crew went gold tops and pants with maroon jerseys to drop Weber State.

Mike Leach's team rolled with anthracite helmets and pants sandwiching crimson jerseys on Thursday. Washington State fell to Rutgers 41-38 in Seattle.

Classic look for the Trojans on Saturday against Fresno State. It's cardinal helmets and jerseys with gold pants against Fresno State.
