Women's volleyball: Big weekend against Big Ten

Both the Pac-12 and the Big Ten have consistently been among the best in the nation. 32 of the 33 NCAA Championships have featured either a Pac-12 or Big Ten team in the national championship match, including 24 times where at least one Pac-12 team has played for the national title.
The Pac-12 has the most national champions in DI volleyball with 14, more than any other conference. The Big Ten has the second-most national champions with nine.
Contests between Pac-12 and Big Ten teams have historically been some of the most competitive. In the all-time series, the Pac-12 leads the Big Ten 240-231.
There are 18 matches between Pac-12 and Big Ten teams this year – 12 of which will be televised on Pac-12 Networks or Big Ten Networks.
Seven of the top eight teams in the AVCA preseason poll are from one of the two conferences, showcasing some of the best talent in the nation.
The 5,009 career Division I wins between all Pac-12 coaches are over 900 more than the nearest conference (Big Ten/4,093).
Stanford and Penn State are tied for the most titles in NCAA history with six apiece. Stanford (101) and PSU (80) are also two of the top-four winningest teams in NCAA Tournament history. UCLA is tied with Penn State at 80, and Nebraska has the second-most at 86.
