Oregon

USA Today predicts that Oregon will meet Florida State in the finals of the College Football Playoff. It also projects Arizona State making the Fiesta Bowl.

USC

USC defensive tackle Leonard Williams has an ankle injury, but this Associated Press story on Williams makes it sound like he's going to play against Boston College. Reigning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week, y'all. Also, an interesting look at how Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu landed with the Steelers in the first place (CBS Sports doin' work).

UCLA

Kevin Gemmell writes that the UCLA Bruins are "embracing the underdog role" as they prepare for the Texas game. Yes, UCLA is No. 12 in the nation, but its wins haven't exactly gone according to how the media thought they would. Also, here's episode 3 of "Overdrive," taking a more detailed look at Nick Pasquale and his family. Great episode of "The Drive" Wednesday night.

Arizona

Arizona's rushing attack has been pretty good under Rich Rodriguez, no? Czech this: 576 yards on 92 carries (6.3 yards per rush) through two games this season for the Wildcats.

Arizona State

Jeff Metcalfe features Arizona State center Nick Kelly, a guy quarterback Taylor Kelly calls "super smart." No relation between Nick and Taylor, in case you were wondering.

Oregon State

Kevin Hampton of the Corvallis Gazette-Times tells us Oregon State’s Obum Gwacham is making good on his move to defensive end. The former receiver had two sacks against Hawai’i.

Utah

The silver lining from a lost 2013 is that Utah wide receiver Kenneth Scott is benefitting from what he was able to learn from the sidelines last season, writes Mike Sorensen of the Deseret News. He broke his ankle in the first game of the 2013 season and spent the rest of the season sitting up in the coaches' box with Dennis Erickson to learn more about opposing defenses. He already has 10 receptions and three touchdowns in 2014.

Stanford

If you ask Tom FitzGerald, he’d tell you that Stanford wide receiver Devon Cajuste is “poised for a huge season.” Dude averaged an incredible 22.9 yards per catch last year.

Washington

After watching the tape of Eastern Washington's Vernon Adams go to town on the Huskies’ secondary, defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski thinks he put the Washington defensive backs in man-to-man coverage too often against EWU.

Washington State

Jacob Thorpe believes that in order for the Air Raid to really get rollin’, the Washington State running backs need to be more productive.

California

I’m a day late on this, but Mike Vernon informs us that Jared Goff is No. 2 in the ESPN Pac-12 Blog quarterback rankings. Four touchdowns and no picks in a game will do that for you.

Colorado

Mike MacIntyre hopes Colorado wide receiver Bryce Bobo will build off his game against UMass, when he caught five passes for 54 yards.
