Pac-12 Unveils 2014-15 WBB Conference & TV Schedule

Sep 22, 2014

BERKELEY – The Pac-12 Conference released the 2014-15 conference and TV schedule Monday and announced that the California women’s basketball team will have a minimum of 19 games televised throughout the season, including at least two in front of a nationally televised audience.

The Bears previously released the non-conference and ESPN schedules, which included nationally-televised Pac-12 games at Arizona State and Stanford. With Monday’s release, the road game at Kansas has been picked up by Fox Sports 1 while 15 regular season games have been added to the Pac-12 Networks slate. In total, all but three conference games will appear live on television.

Monday’s announcement also reveals that the Golden Bears will open the season with an exhibition game against Vanguard at Haas Pavilion on Saturday, November 1 at 2 p.m.

Two non-conference games have been picked up by the Pac-12 Networks, beginning with the highly anticipated matchup between California and Louisville at Haas Pavilion on Sunday, December 21. Tip-off in the rematch of the 2013 Final Four game is scheduled for 2 p.m. between the Bears and Cardinals. The non-conference finale against Old Dominion (Dec. 29) will tip-off at 6 p.m. and will also be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.

Fifteen of the Golden Bears’ 18 conference games will be televised this season – including all nine home games – with conference play opening up against Utah at Haas Pavilion on Saturday, January 3 (3 p.m.) on the Pac-12 Networks. The only Pac-12 games not scheduled for broadcast are at USC (Jan 23), at Arizona (Feb. 6) and at Oregon (Feb. 26).

The Pac-12 Tournament will be held in Seattle, Wash., for the third consecutive season from March 5-8 with every game televised.

Season tickets for the 2014-15 California women’s basketball season are on sale now with ticket packages starting as low as $24 for youth and seniors. Once again this season, there are packages available in either general admission or the reserved seats. Visit the Athletic Ticket Office website at calbea.rs/1DtrK3L for more information.
