Things would end up going south for Mike Bercovici and his team in a 62-27 loss, but the Arizona State interim starting quarterback made some really nice throws in his first career start. His biggest highlight of the night came in the second quarter, when the man stepping in for the injured Taylor Kelly fit a deep ball into double coverage to find Cameron Smith in the end zone for a 29-yard touchdown.

Not a big window in which to throw, but Bercovici stuffed it in there.
Bercovici finished the game 42-of-68 with 488 yards passing, three touchdowns and two interceptions (though one of them was absolutely unreal). The completions and attempts are Arizona State single-game records.
