The week in social media photos: Sept. 22-28

Sep 29, 2014

If you needed further proof that Austin Hill's Hail Mary catch was special, just note that we're about to talk more about it. The #HillMary was one of the more improbable plays we've ever seen. So naturally, USC completed one and Colorado celebrated their most famous one. But in other non-crazy sports plays, there was a big field hockey win, some selfie action, and more. The week:

While it wasn’t quite a game winner, this Darreus Rogers grab on an end-of-half heave was the Pac’s second Hail Mary connection in a week.

Twenty years ago this week, Kordell Stewart connected on this last second TD pass, for the win, in Ann Arbor.

Is this the best poster ever or the greatest poster ever?

There were some famous Dawgs on hand for the UW-Stanford contest.

How to hit home runs. This is part of a weekly WSU How To. I dig.

Just me or is it somewhat ironic to watch a sneaky play on repeat? Nevertheless, great play, cool media.

You've heard me say it before but I love inter-sport support. And saying inter-sport support.

Selfies are so in right now. Plus, inter-sport support!

This is what a Stanford field hockey team looks like after upsetting the No. 2 ranked team in the nation.

Here we see UCLA celebrating a score. On Thursday night, they did a lot of this.

Big fan of the time-lapse as well as band arrangements.

The incredible, Colorado-Cal, double-OT game ended on this man's foot (James Langford).
