Katelyn Rowland Earns Second Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week Honor

UCLA's Katelyn Rowland was named the Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season and third time in her career after posting a pair of shutouts in the Bruins' 1-0 wins over Utah and Colorado.

Stanford's Ryan Walker-Hartshorn was named Offensive Player of the Week, and Colorado's Tori Cooper was tabbed the Defensive Player of the Week.

Rowland, a senior from Vacaville, Calif., earned her eighth and ninth shutouts of the season, making four saves in the 1-0 win over No. 19 Utah and three saves in the 1-0 victory over Colorado. The senior improved her school-record career shutout total to 45, which is tied for third-most in NCAA history. Her seven saves this weekend moved her into third place on UCLA’s career saves list with 178.

The top-ranked Bruins (10-0-2) host second-ranked Stanford (10-0-2) on Thursday at 8pm in a game that will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks.
