Susie White Receives Weekly Honor
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State redshirt-sophomore has been named a Primetime Performer of the Week by CollegeSoccer360.com.
A native of Highlands Ranch, Colo., White anchored the Cougar backline as Washington State split a pair of matches in the Bay Area against nationally-ranked opponents.
In a 1-0 victory over No. 9 California, the Cougars yielded two shots on goal and just six overall. Washington State held No. 3 Stanford until the 84th minute a 1-0 victory by the Cardinal. It was only the third goal given up by the Cougars this season. Washington State entered the match second nationally to Stanford in goals against average.
White and the Cougars play their first home match since Aug. 31 when they entertain Arizona at 2 p.m., Friday. The match will take place at Lower Soccer Field and be televised by Pac-12 Networks.
