Tiffani Walker Named Director of Basketball Operations

SEATTLE, Wash. – Tiffani Walker has been named the Director of Men’s Basketball Operations, head coach Lorenzo Romar announced on Friday. Walker comes the Huskies after spending the last seven months as an attorney for the DIRECTV Sports Network here in Seattle.

“We’re very excited to have Tiffani join our staff,” said Romar. “She is an exceptionally bright, innovative and creative individual. She brings a lot to the table that will help our program continue to grow and develop.”

Walker, who played Division I soccer at Illinois (2000-03), received her law degree from the University of Houston in 2011 and has been worked as an attorney ever since. Prior to that, she received a BA in communications at the University of Illinois and went on to work with the media relations staff’s at both the Seattle Seahawks (2004-06) and the Houston Texans (2006-08).

In her new role, Walker will oversee all logistics and coordination related to the basketball program.
