Softball Hosts Fall Invitational

TUCSON - Hillenbrand Stadium will be the host of 15 games this weekend, as Arizona softball welcomes Arizona Western, Central Arizona, Pima College, Paradise Valley College and Cypress College for the Fall Invitational, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Arizona will take on Paradise Valley on Friday at 6 p.m. in its first game of the invitational before taking on Arizona Western and Central Arizona at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively on Saturday. On Sunday, UA will take on Cypress and Pima to close the event at 3 and 5 p.m., respectively. The full Fall Invitational schedule is listed below.

Game times are subject to change based on weather and length of previous games. All games are free of charge and seating is on first-come, first-served basis. Parking in the lots surrounding Hillenbrand Stadium will be free of charge on Saturday and Sunday and Friday after 4 p.m. PDT. Prior to 4 p.m. on Friday, fans are encouraged to park in Cherry Garage (corner of Cherry and Enke) or 2nd Street Garage (corner of 2nd and Mountain).

The Wildcats are coming off a sweep of the Fall Round Robin in which they outscored Eastern Arizona and Phoenix College 42-6 in a doubleheader.
