Stanford Heads East

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The highlight of Stanford’s fall lacrosse season annually comes with its East Coast trip.

Last year, the Cardinal played the United States national team as part of an event in Towson, Md. This year, Stanford spends the weekend at the Naval Academy, with competition beginning Saturday.

Stanford opens with a full game against Navy on Saturday at 1 p.m. PT (4 p.m. ET).

On Sunday, the Cardinal plays three mini 40-minute games – two 20-minute halves with a running clock.

Here’s  Stanford’s Sunday schedule:

9 a.m. PT (noon ET): Stanford vs. Loyola-Maryland
10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET): Stanford vs. Pennsylvania
11 a.m. PT (2 p.m. ET): Stanford vs. Maryland

Stanford’s final game of the day is against Maryland, the defending NCAA champion.  The Terrapins eliminated Penn in the second round.

Stanford returns home for its alumnae game on Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
