Arriola Invited to USA Junior National Tryouts

OKLAHOMA CITY – Freshman McKenna Arriola is one of 22 athletes that has been invited to try out for the 2015 USA Softball Junior Women’s National Team (JWNT) the Amateur Softball Association of American and USA Softball announced Friday.

The West Hill, Calif. native will play in the infield for the Beavers during the 2015 season. She joins eight other Pac-12 players on the list of invitees, the most from any conference.

“I'm really excited for McKenna,” said OSU Head Coach Laura Berg, “This is an experience she'll remember for the rest of her life. McKenna is very talented and will do very well at the tryout. I and the rest of the Beaver Nation wish her luck at the tryouts.” 

The tryouts will take place Jan. 3 and 4 in Irvine, Calif. while the World Cup will be played June 29 through July 5 in Southern California.
