Pac-12 uniform watch: Washington pulls out gold chrome helmets against ASU

Oct 25, 2014

There are quite a few matte helmets being worn around the league this week, but not in Seattle. The Huskies want to outshine the Arizona State Sun Devils wearing their gold chrome tops. What else is the fashionable look this week in Pac-12 football?

USC is wearing its road whites and yellow pants along with its alternate chrome helmets.

It's getting gray in the Palouse. Washington State faces Arizona wearing gray helmets, pants and jerseys.

The Bruins are wearing white jerseys, white pants and gold helmets in a visit to Boulder.

Stanford is going cardinal jerseys with white tops and pants as they hope to get back on track this week against Oregon State.

The Huskies host ASU with purple jerseys and pants, but they'll also dust off the gold chrome helmets.

Arizona State is getting a positive reception on Twitter for this classic look. It's gold tops, white jerseys and maroon pants for the night cap against Washington.

It's a blackout for Utah at home. Kyle Whittingham's squad will be wearing all black everything, including their matte black helmets, as they host a fellow top-20 team, the USC Trojans.

Oregon State's threads will be all white as it faces Stanford. The Beavs will also be rocking their matte black helmets with toothy racing stripes running down the middle.

At Wazzu, the Wildcats will wear white helmets, white jerseys and blue pants against the Cougs.

Colorado hosts No. 25 UCLA wearing gold helmets and pants to go along with its black jerseys.

Being the Golden Bears on Friday night, the Ducks rolled with gray pants, white jerseys with lime-green lettering and matte gray helmets with a silver winged design.

Quarterback Marcus Mariota was even wearing camouflage tights against Cal. He threw for five touchdowns in the 59-41 win, so they must have served him well.

Cal gave Oregon a fight wearing matte blue helmets, gold jerseys and blue pants.
