PAC Rugby 7s Championship Nov. 8-9 Event Info
BERKELEY – California will host a fall rugby 7s event for the first time on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8-9, when the PAC Rugby 7s Championship tournament comes to Witter Rugby Field.

Please check important road-closure information here to ensure your smoothest travel from and to the venue from Saturday evening through Sunday morning as routes are adjusted due to the Berkeley Half Marathon that takes place Sunday.
The Golden Bears will be joined by 10 other Pac-12 member universities for a total of 33 matches over two days in the same format of the sport that will be contested for medals at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Each team plays four matches on Saturday followed by two matches on Sunday, culminating with the championship final between the two best squads at 1:30 p.m.

In pool play on Saturday, Cal faces Stanford at 9 a.m. followed by Oregon State at 10:30 a.m., Arizona at 12:20 p.m. and Arizona State at 3:20 p.m. Teams are reseeded following Saturday play to determine Sunday matchups.
Gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. Daily tickets are $10, $5 for youth 12-under and seniors, and free for all Cal students and children 2-under.
The Bears will enter the PAC 7s at 9-1 overall and a No. 2 national ranking looking to build on their growing success in the Olympic code of the sport, with an all-time record in 7s of 74-14 (.840).
