LOS ANGELES - The 58th Annual Southern California Intercollegiate Championships got underway at UCLA's Los Angeles Tennis Center on Wednesday with two rounds of singles qualifying.

Yamani took on UC San Diego's Eric Tseng in his opening match of qualifying on Wednesday morning, falling 6-2, 6-2.

In addition to main draw singles action, qualifying doubles takes place on Thursday afternoon. Ramadan and teammate Michael Guzman will be representing UCLA in that draw.
