Beavers Host Boise State and Alumni Meet

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State swimming team will host Boise State Friday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m. at Osborn Aquatic Center for the final dual meet of the fall season for OSU. The team will also host their alumni meet Saturday, Nov. 1 at 10 am on campus at Steven’s Natatorium in the Dixon Recreational Center.

The meet Friday will also feature Halloween themed events, including a costume contest with prizes. Alumni are encouraged to attend the meet against Boise State Friday evening.

The Alumni meet will begin at 10 a.m. with warmup for competing swimmers beginning at 9:30 a.m. There will be a meet-and-greet for alumni and current Beavers after the warmup before competition begins. The meet will feature current Beavers and alumni being split into two teams to compete and will include multiple individual events and relays.  

The Beavers are coming off a weekend that saw them fall to California and Stanford on the road. Junior Sammy Harrison had three first place finishes on the weekend, with two coming in the 1000 Yard Freestyle. Czsarina Isleta continued her strong season with a pair of second place finishes, each in the 200 Yard Breaststroke.
