Cougars Wrap Up Fall Season with Pac-12 Preview

THIS WEEK:  The Washington State University women’s golf team wraps up its fall season at Nanea Golf Club in Kailua Kona, Hawaii with the Pac-12 Preview, Nov. 3-4.

THE TOURNAMENT: The tournament will play at the par-73 Nanea Golf Club with a 6,392-yard track…teams will play 36 holes Monday in a shotgun format beginning at 7:30 a.m…the final round will be played Tuesday.

THE FIELD: The 2014 Pac-12 Preview will feature all 11 Pac-12 women’s golf programs in addition to local school Hawaii…join­ing the Rainbow Wahine will be Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Washington, and Washington State.

COACH KAMIMURA ON THE TOURNAMENT: “We’re excited to get out there and compete. The team has prepared and worked hard all fall and we’re eager to finish strong. We are looking forward to competing.”

REPRESENTING WASHINGTON STATE: Competing for the Cougar women will be freshman Alivia Brown, senior Lindsay Harmon, junior Rachel Lewis, senior Kristen Rue, and freshman Bree Wanderscheid.

COACHING STAFF:  Washington State is led by Head Coach Kelli Kamimura in her fifth season…a native of Burlington, Wash., Kamimura spent six seasons with Pepperdine prior to her arrival at WSU…the Cougars are assisted by WSU alumna Emma Betland in her first season…Betland competed for the Cougars from 2010-13.
