UCLA's Jordan Payton burns Arizona with double move
It was a surprising defensive struggle between UCLA and Arizona in Pasadena.
Jordan Payton changed that tone late in the third quarter. After forcing an Arizona punt, quarterback Brettt Hundley threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to Payton on a beautiful double move. Payton froze freshman cornerback Cam Denson with a stop-and-go move and turned on the jets to put the Bruins up by double digits for the final points of a 17-7 UCLA victory.
Payton finished with 116 yards on six receptions, and all of them were needed. Hundley, after all, threw for 189 yards and no UCLA receiver after Payton finished with more than 18 receiving yards.
