Cal Concludes Fall at Pac-12 Preview in Hawaii

BERKELEY – California closes the fall season with the annual Pac-12 Preview that features each Pac-12 women’s golf program as well as the University of Hawaii, the tournament’s host school.

The tournament will be played at the 6,392-yard, par 73 Nanea Golf Club in Kailua Kona, Hawaii with a total of 54 holes played from Monday to Tuesday. Teams will play 36 holes Monday before concluding the tournament Tuesday. Nanea Golf Club opened in 2003 and is an exclusive, private course, co-owned by Charles Schwab and Safeway co-founder George Roberts.

Cal placed eighth at the tournament last season that featured eight ranked opponents in the field. The Bears shot a 902 (+26) as a team with Nicola Rossler leading the way with a 220 (+1) to place 18th overall. USC won the tournament in 2013 by one stroke over UCLA.

COURSE: Nanea Golf Club (par-73; 6,392 yards) – Kona, Hawaii

FORMAT: Two-day, 54-hole tournament with 36 holes the first day and 18 holes on Tuesday. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
