Huskies Host PNW Intercollegiates in Kirkland
SEATTLE - The University of Washington men’s tennis team is set to play host to the PNW Intercollegiates this weekend starting Friday, Nov. 7 and running through Sunday, November 9. There will be two flights of doubles and six flights of singles with action getting underway at 8:45 a.m. at the Central Park Tennis Center in Kirkland.
The Huskies will be joined in the fall tournament by Oregon, Gonzaga, Boise State, Portland State, Portland, Seattle U and Eastern Washington.
In doubles action, Washington will pair Viktor Farkas and Wendell Watanabe in the doubles flight one and Dragos Puscalau and Rish Raman in flight two. Five Dawgs will compete in singles play led by Emmett Egger who is ranked 83rd in the nation. Viktor Farkas, Raman, Watanabe and Puscalau will see singles action.
This is the third fall tournament for the Huskies who have competed in the ITA All-American Championships and the ITA NW Regionals.
