• The 99th season of Pac-12 men’s basketball season gets underway with Full Court Friday as 11 Pac-12 teams are in action, and 10 of those games will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks... USC will open the season on Saturday, Nov. 15... It’s actually the 100th year as league play began in 1915-16. However, the Conference did not hold competition during the 1917-18 season.
• Pollsters... ARIZONA and UTAH are ranked in the Associated Press preseason poll, while the Wildcats are the league’s lone representation in the USA Today Coaches preseason poll. The Wildcats are No. 2 in both polls, while the Utes are tied for No. 25 in the Coaches poll.
• Returning All-Pac-12 Performers... Three first team All-Pac-12 performers, and two second team selections return in 2014-15. First team honorees include STANFORD guard Chasson Randle, COLORADO forward Josh Scott, UTAH guard Delon Wright. Returning second-team selections include ARIZONA guard T.J. McConnell and OREGON guard Joseph Young.
• Just around the corner... The National Letter of Intent early signing period is Nov. 12-19.
