Nov 11, 2014

SEATTLE – UW seniors Jaclyn Softli and Kate Bennett as well as freshman Kimby Keever were honored Wednesday as members of the Pac-12 All-Conference teams, as announced by the conference Tuesday morning.

Softli was named first-team All-Pac-12. Her ten goals were fifth in the Pac-12 this season and a single-season career high to put her in the top-10 in UW history for goals in a season. Her six game-winners are the fourth-most in a single season for a Husky and led the conference.

Bennett received second-team All-Pac-12 honors. She recorded six goals to go with three assists as the Huskies’ starting midfielder in 2014 after leading the team in goals last season.

Keever made the Pac-12 All-Freshman team after enjoying a very successful first year with UW, netting five goals and two assists. She alternated between forward and left back throughout the season.

The Huskies continue their season this Friday as they host the Rider University Broncs in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. PT and will be streamed live. Tickets can be purchased online and parking is available on site for $10. Follow the action live on Twitter at @UW_WSoccer.
