A CALIFORNIA WIN WOULD
* Give Cal its seventh consecutive win over Nevada
* Improve Lindsay Gottlieb to a perfect 4-0 in home openers at Cal

GOTTLIEB’S 200TH GAME
California head coach Lindsay Gottlieb is 136-63 (.683) all-time through six seasons as a head coach - three at UC Santa Barbara and three at California. Tuesday’s home opener against Nevada will be her 200th game.

SCOUTING NEVADA
Nevada knocked off Lindsay Gottlieb’s former school, UC Santa Barbara, in their season opener with a 71-58 win. The Wolf Pack were led by junior guard T Moe who recorded the first triple-double in Nevada history with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. Senior Mimi Mungedi added 24 points for Nevada to keep Jane Albright unbeaten in season openers as the head coach at Nevada. The last game was Albright’s 900th career game as a head coach.

CAL-NEVADA SERIES HISTORY
Cal and Nevada have played 12 times with the Bears holding a 9-3 series advantage thanks to a current six-game winning streak. The two teams last played in the ‘09-10 season with the Bears taking an 85-60 win. Nevada’s last victory was a 62-58 game in the ‘76-77 season.

GAME RECAP
Playing just 20 miles from her hometown of Manteca, Courtney Range more than doubled her previous career-high with 27 points and also pulled down 11 rebounds to lead No. 15/14 California to an 84-64 win at Pacific in the 2014-15 season opener. Range was a commanding 10-for-13 from the field, including 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Freshman Mikayla Cowling scored all but one of her 18 points in the second half and added seven rebounds for a Golden Bears team that shot 46.2 percent from the field and held a 49-33 rebounding edge.

BOYD APPROACHES TOP 10 MARK
Brittany Boyd is one steal shy of cracking the Pac-12 all-time steals list. Boyd (273) will match Nicole Anderson (UCLA, 1990-93) for No. 10 with her next steal. The senior averages 2.7 steals per game throughout her Cal career.

A DEBUT TO REMEMBER
Freshman Mikayla Cowling exploded for 18 points in her collegiate debut at Pacific after shooting 6-of-9 from the field. All but one of Cowling’s points came in the second half in which she was 6-of-7 from the field in the final 20 minutes of play while adding seven rebounds.

BOYD BEING BOYD
Senior Brittany Boyd has made a reputation of being a quadruple threat in points, rebounds, assists and steals. In just 23 minutes of action against Pacific, Boyd put up “typical” numbers of 12 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals.
