USC football: JuJu Smith makes a tip-toe catch on his birthday

USC freshman wide receiver JuJu Smith celebrated his 18th birthday Saturday by making an incredible tip-toe catch against UCLA at the Rose Bowl. Facing a 3rd-and-10 in UCLA territory, USC quarterback Cody Kessler threw a pass that looked destined to sail out of bounds before Smith snatched it out of the air and got one toe inbounds to convert the first down.

The impressive catch by the birthday boy was the difference on the drive, which ended on a Trojans touchdown. The Trojans could have used a few more big plays from the offense in a 38-20 loss.
