UCLA Soccer Earns Team, Individual Academic Honors

The defending NCAA women's soccer champions got it done on the field and in the classroom. For the third-straight year, the Bruins earned a NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 academic year, and they also had a school-record 11 players named to the 2014 Pac-12 All-Academic team.

UCLA earned its first NSCAA Team Academic Award in school history for the 2011-12 campaign and have won it every year since. The 2013-14 Bruins posted a 3.11 team GPA to receive the distinction.

Senior midfielder Sarah Killion led the contingent of Bruins to earn academic honors from the Pac-12. Killion was a second-team selection, marking the third time in her career that she has earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors. Killion has a 3.70 GPA in Psychology and also earned Capital One Academic All-District second-team acclaim.

Also making the team, as honorable mention selections, were sophomore Annie Alvarado, senior Ally Courtnall, senior Abby Dahlkemper, redshirt freshman Zoey Goralski, sophomore Darian Jenkins, senior Kylie McCarthy, senior Sam Mewis, sophomore Gabbi Miranda, senior Megan Oyster, and senior Rosie White.
